These poems, as well as the poems on my blog, are available for reprint in books and anthologies. If you would like more information about licensing one of my poems for use in your project, I'd love to hear from you! You can contact me here.
My poem "Winning" appears in the new poetry anthology for middle graders, What is a Friend? (Pomelo Books). This anthology features 41 poets, and was featured on the October 2022 "Hot Off the Press" list from the Children's Book Council. 100% of the profits from the sale of the book will be donated to the IBBY Children in Crisis Fund (IBBY.org).
My poem "To the Pansy by the Front Door" is part of the wonderful anthology Imperfect II: poems about perspective: an anthology for middle schoolers, edited by Tabatha Yeatts. This poem was inspired by a real pansy that grew by the front door of our house when I was in middle school and high school.
This book makes a wonderful gift for middle schoolers and a great addition to school and classroom libraries. You can find out more about the book and its contributors here and order your own copy here.
I'm honored to be among the poets featured in this book of alphabet poems from Pomelo Books about foods we eat, aimed at children from preschool - grade 2. With back matter, including lists of resources, this is perfect for both personal and educational use. All profits go to support the IBBY Children in Crisis Fund. You can buy your copy here.
